Volunteer Position: Volunteer Coordinator (Part-Time, Volunteer Position)

Location: Hybrid – Carty House has 2 locations (that are close together)

Time Commitment: Flexible. Some evenings and weekend hours here and there

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and organized volunteer to serve as our Volunteer Coordinator. We are a small organization with a handful of volunteers. We could utilize more volunteers if we had a coordinator! We are a fun team and would love to welcome you to our team!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers. (We have a running list of interested individuals)
  • Maintain an up-to-date volunteer database and records.
  • Schedule and coordinate volunteer opportunities and assignments.
  • Communicate regularly with volunteers, providing guidance and support.
  • Recognize and appreciate volunteer contributions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to assess volunteer needs.
  • Ensure that we are on track with our volunteer policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in volunteer management would be amazing but not required.
  • Comfortable in Microsoft Office, Excel, email.
  • Passion for community service and volunteer engagement.
