For over 20 years, the Congregation of Notre Dame (CND) has generously provided us with our original home, a safe haven, for our female refugee residents.
Carty House I is a charming historic duplex that offers 12 bedrooms, welcoming common spaces, and a shared kitchen. There’s even a flower and vegetable garden – a true home!
The CND has now gifted us the Carty House I property! We are homeowners! We are truly overwhelmed with their generosity!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
But we cannot take on this enormous responsibility without you.
Presently, we find ourselves at a rare and meaningful moment — one that calls for immediate focused action and collective care.
We’re working to raise $50,000 by the end of this month to cover the initial costs of taking ownership. (As of October 30, we are at $32,142!)
Because of you, hundreds of refugee women have found not just shelter, but safety, dignity, and a new life.
Cornerstone Donors: $5,000+
Leadership Donors: $1,000–$4,999
Listed as such on a permanent plaque in the home’s entrance
Founding Supporters: All gifts up to $999
Celebrated in a beautifully designed Book of Honour displayed in the home and on our digital Wall of Gratitude.
